The team
You will be working alongside a team of front of house assistants led by an Assistant Manager and Catering Supervisors, helping support the serviced outlets and serviced hospitality.
The role
The University is looking for a food service assistant to join our Catering team and support the team in providing meals to students, staff, and visitors. The role currently available is a 20-hour post working from 11.30 am – 3.30 pm, 5 days out of 7, term time only contract for 30 weeks. The work is mainly Monday to Friday, but does include some scheduled weekend work at various points during the year.
Experience of working in a catering and hospitality environment is essential, and some knowledge of food hygiene and food allergens is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given. High levels of personal hygiene are essential.
