We are looking to recruit a SHE Advisor to join our Scotland West team.
They will be tasked with promoting a culture where safety, health and environmental considerations are integrated into everyday processes, and they will be responsible for actively engaging with all levels of management on SH&E issues at all stages of the construction process. This role covers multiple sites so they must have a valid driving licence and should be prepared to travel.
Previous experience within a SH&E role is required and knowledge of the construction/house building industry is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, an inquisitive mind, computer literacy and an enthusiastic and determined nature are essential. They should have a proven track record of influencing and promoting SH&E best practice and a proactive SH&E culture within a multi-site business embracing our ββwork safe, home safeβ ethos.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold the NEBOSH Construction/General certificate. As a minimum, candidates must be prepared to work towards achieving a NEBOSH qualification and should hold IOSH membership.
