Female Relief Support Worker – Kettering

We are looking to recruit passionate Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in the Corby Area.

Do you want to make a positive difference in people’s lives? Support work offers flexibility for those who find it challenging to commit to full or part-time roles. As a Relief Support Worker, you can choose shifts based on your availability and the needs of the service.

Flexibility is essential as shifts vary across mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep-ins, and waking nights, including weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays. A positive mindset and a desire to improve the lives of individuals with learning disabilities are crucial. You should be quick-thinking with a can-do attitude.

Role overview: As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide outstanding support to help individuals live comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy lives.

  • Supporting independence—budget management, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
  • Building relationships—supporting individuals to understand the world and promoting positive relationships.
  • Community & Social Inclusion—helping individuals access and participate in local community and social events to develop life skills and individuality.
  • Personal care—assisting with daily routines, medication prompts, bathing, showering, and bathroom use. Not all roles involve high levels of personal care.

*All roles require an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

Vacancy ID: 33265

  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) plus benefits including pension and holiday buying options.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • A supportive and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued.

*Terms and conditions apply based on your contract.
