We are currently working with a leading manufacturer who design, and install, tailored furniture, working in the Leisure, Commercial, and Education environments, Laboratories, Technology rooms, Libraries, ICT spaces Showrooms, Reception areas, and more to join their established and growing team. Key Responsibilities The role involves designing, drawing, and producing CAD drawings for fitted furniture. Key Skills and Requirements • As a Designer, you will have sound understanding of how things are put together, what materials to use and fixings required, with an ability to draw in 3D as well as create flat patterns where required. • AutoCAD and Fusion 360 is a must, you will ideally also be able to use IMOS and have strong Microsoft office skills. • Previous experience in furniture design is not required. • You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be self-motivated, flexible, with the ability to work accurately on an independent basis always giving attention to detail. • The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and work ethic with the ability to develop ongoing relationships.
