Are you a seasoned broadcast engineering leader looking to shape the future of live and remote media production on a global scale? We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Broadcast Engineering to join a world-class media and technology team, driving innovation, performance, and delivery across major international events.
This high-impact leadership role sits at the heart of a state-of-the-art media hub and oversees all aspects of broadcast infrastructure, remote production, and content delivery. You’ll manage a large, talented team of engineers and technical specialists, lead strategic upgrades, and oversee global event deployment, all while working closely with internal stakeholders and global media partners to ensure seamless delivery of content to millions of viewers worldwide.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the operational and technical delivery of complex live broadcasts and remote production infrastructure
- Overseeing strategic broadcast upgrades and capital projects from conception to execution
- Managing high-performing engineering teams and third-party contractors
- Supporting global media rights, content production, and digital media distribution
- Driving innovation and maintaining relationships with major tech and broadcast equipment providers
- Managing departmental budgets, project planning, and staff development
- Acting as a key senior leader in aligning operational objectives with business strategy

- Proven leadership of large-scale, multi-skilled broadcast engineering teams
- Deep technical expertise across live TV production, OTT, remote workflows, and global distribution
- Strong understanding of IBC operations, AV systems, RF licensing, and cutting-edge broadcast technologies

- Excellent stakeholder management, project delivery, and communication skills
- Degree-qualified in Broadcast Engineering or a related field, with ongoing professional development
