We now have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our commercial team on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. Based from our office in Dartford, Kent, you will assist our Quantity Surveyors with the execution of commercial, financial and contractual performance. The role can be offered either on a full time basis, 40 hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm or, part time at least 24 hours per week. You must be available on Friday\’s 8am to 5pm. Some of these days could be worked remotely but there would be the requirement to work in the Dartford office on Friday. Rydon Maintenance provides a range of expert planned and responsive maintenance services to domestic properties and commercial buildings in the social housing, health and social care sectors. We look after a growing number of healthcare buildings for NHS Trusts, residential homes and educational facilities. Using the latest technology we ensure properties are well maintained, efficient and fit for purpose. Job Purpose As Commercial Administrator you will provide assistance and support to the commercial team in all contractual and financial matters relating to the management of our housing maintenance and repair contracts. The primary responsibilities as Commercial Administrator will be; Extracting data and updating commercial trackers on Excel. Sourcing and collating documents (these could be subcontract payment documents, photos, reports and more) from various file locations for presentation to the client to evidence that works have been completed and costs have been expended. Creating and analysing commercial data and reports. Experience Required The preferred candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to demonstrate good numeracy skills. Ideally you will have a previous administration experience and have a very good understanding of the use of Microsoft Office Packages such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
