Job Title: AS-MASH Qualified Social Worker (QSW) Location: North West, UK Sector: Social Care Job Type: Locum / Contract The Role We\’re seeking an AS-MASH Qualified Social Worker to join our safeguarding team. As part of this role, you\’ll be pivotal in protecting adults at risk of abuse or neglect, working in close partnership with various agencies to deliver effective interventions in adult social care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored care and support plans. Work closely with police, health professionals, and other partners to coordinate safeguarding responses. Offer expert advice and contribute to multi-agency meetings. Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and legal frameworks. Advocate for adults at risk, supporting individuals and their families. Stay up to date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices. What We\’re Looking For: A Qualified Social Worker with a recognized degree (BA/MA, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in adult social care, particularly in safeguarding and multi-agency settings. Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures. Key Skills: Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Empathy, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure.
