Join Solutions30 UK, part of the European-leading Solutions30 Group, specialising in delivering innovative technology solutions. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team and contribute to exciting projects in power connections, EVCP, battery, and solar installations. The Electrical Estimator will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for energy projects. This role will involve close collaboration with project management and delivery teams to meet company standards and profitability targets. The role will also require regular communications with our suppliers, ensuring we have the correct price build ups and the DNO / IDNO to ensure we capture PoC (point of connection dates). The Electrical Estimator would be responsible for: Achieving key dates for quote submissions against client milestones Updating trackers/job management system to reflect the job status Raising purchase orders through commercial for awarded works Interpreting basic power drawings and collate site instructions, whilst creating quotations from rate cards Supporting the team in achieving conception to completion regarding quotations Target driven individual working with wider team to ensure accurate records Obtain price points with suppliers to be able to ensure quotations include the correct margins We\’d welcome candidates with the following skills and experience: Proven experience as an Estimator in the utilities sector, preferably within power Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Advantageous) Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Proficiency with estimating tools Ability to work under pressure Professional memberships would be advantageous (RICS, CIOB) Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed Interested and want to know more?
