You will play an integral role in helping to make our residents feel safer, drawing on your local knowledge to help develop key priorities for the neighbourhoods you serve To provide a professional and effective public CCTV/Door entry monitoring service working closely with the Mobile Patrol Officers and Night Time Security Service Supervisors, helping to provide safe, clean and secure neighbourhoods across the city of Birmingham. To ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained is secure at all times by strict compliance with the Birmingham City Council\’s CCTV operational procedures and code of practice. You will be required to operate CCTV and door entry systems of communal areas/multi-storey blocks and other properties within the neighbourhoods of the city Of Birmingham. As an operator you will be required to respond to enquiries from our customers and direct a response team to investigate. You will also handle any issues that are escalated from the Mobile Patrol Officers. You will be required to work a shift system working days/nights throughout the week including weekends and Bank Holidays, 365 days a year.
