Printer Salary £COMPETITIVE Location Loughton Temporary, Full Time Start date: 01 April 2025 – 18 month fixed term contract Shift pattern: From 1st April to 30 June 2025, you will be working Tuesday to Thursday, 6am – 6pm. From 1st July 2025, we will move to a Double Day shift pattern – Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm or 2pm 10pm (alternated weekly). We also have a permanent night shift available – Monday to Friday – 10pm – 6am. Starting salary: £44,668 per annum, rising to £45,618 on successful completion of 3-month probation. Moving to £53,538 when working Double Day shift. Plus highly competitive overtime payments. Night shift salary: £55,228 rising to £56,178 on successful completion of 3-month probation. The role Are you an experienced Printer looking for your next challenge? Do you want to work with the market leader in banknote production? De La Rue are currently looking to recruit a new team of Printers for our site near Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Print Process Lead, you will be required to support operations and ensure machine outputs on all printing processes, meet quality standards and that efficiency is optimised. The role will also include but not limited to; * Problem solving on the machine, to identify any issues that may occur with the print run. * Liaising with Team Leaders & Quality Control to ensure quality standards are met. * Ensuring machine is run in a safe & proper manner * Provide accurate documentation of associated paperwork & computer records related to production run. * Facilitate shift handovers, to ensure effective cross shift communication. * Active participation in continuous improvement, working the closely with the team to develop working practices. To be successful in your application, you will need to be a time served printer with several years sheet fed experience, together with a City & Guilds accreditation or NVQ Level 3 in machine printing, or equivalent.
