Technical Sales/Service Representative As the industry leader in water technology, we’re growing and need talented people like you to help us continue to protect the world’s most vital resource. We seek a Technical Sales/Service Representative to join its industry leading sales team. A proven Account Manager or a Service Chemist/Engineer to support an established customer base. A maternity leave until the end of January 2026 covering weekly and monthly visits. This could include clients within food and beverage, and manufacturing customers primarily within Yorkshire, Humberside, Derby/Notts/Lincolnshire. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts. Using a consultative sales approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. With good account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current account base. What you will have: • Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) preferred. • 5 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience. • Full UK Driver’s licence and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. • Have knowledge and skills in industrial water treatment, typically linked to utilities such as cooling towers, boilers, pasteurisers and wastewater treatment plants. • Understand UK Legionella compliance. • Be part of a field-based sales and service team and will be expected to visit customer sites to complete water testing, take appropriate actions based on results, and report on findings. • Perform on-site water testing, adjust dosing, and perform minor repairs to chemical dosing controllers and equipment, including calibrations and probe replacements. • Flexibility for some overnight stays also may be required from time to time. What You Will Do: • Carry out water testing of systems to validate correct application of our additives and equipment calibrations/first fix. • Provide support to customers in maintaining legionella compliance. • Have oversight of internal processes from order placement to delivery. • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers. • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving customer challenges, and escalating to expert colleagues as required. • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, plant surveys, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels. • Actively sell and support our Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with us.
