Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an electrically biased Site Services Engineer, working as part of a team reporting to the Factory Engineering Manager.
This role is integral to the team supporting our operation ensuring all electrical compliance is held, and all electrical activities are completed in accordance with business objectives and activities for product safety, quality and plant operation/performance ensuring optimum safety, operation and delivery.
A day in the life of a Site Services Engineer
As a Site Services Engineer, your key objective is to be responsible for ensuring optimal cost, highly efficient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation, i.e steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling and compressed air etc.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the move from reactive to preventative maintenance by identifying our common recurring issues using root cause analysis and creating maintenance improvement plans
- Coaching and development of the Technician group within the Industrial Services Team
- Supporting and challenging your colleagues to maintain all company standards.
- Ensuring full support to the department for compliance audits
- Managing small projects and helping to develop future capex plans

The person that is successful in this role will have the drive to deliver improvements across the site. This role provides the opportunity to develop individually and as part of a highly skilled team as well as giving someone the opportunity to make a real impact.
Other attributes would include:
- Minimum apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, ideally dual skilled.
- Manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- In-depth understanding of problem-solving methodology.
- Ability to influence by having strong inter personal skills.
- Ability to coach across all levels and work on own initiative.
