Training Specialist – Health & Safety
- 37 Hours per week

Norse Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Training Specialist to join our Learning & Development Team working within Health & Safety to support with developing, delivering and maintaining effective compliance training and additional learning requirements across Norse Group.
Responsibilities
As Training Specialist, you will work closely with management to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, policies & procedures, championing best practice through guiding and advising on effective training solutions. Your day to day duties will include:
- Supporting learners to ensure positive outcomes to upskill our employees skills in their workplace
- Providing information, advice and guidance to develop effective training solutions to support business needs
- Liaising with the Learning & Development Designer to develop and maintain training material to the highest standards, and where relevant meeting all awarding body requirements (IOSH, ISO:9015, HABC etc)
- Collaborating with the Quality & Compliance Training Manager, reviewing & evaluating effectiveness of training delivery, modifying approach as required
- Liaising with the Learning & Development Coordinator, to plan and schedule required training ensuring training events are effectively booked and confirmed
- Leading on relevant projects, supporting with the design and development, creating effective solutions within set timeframes and to meet budgets
Our Successful Candidate
Essential criteria (please only apply if meet the minimum essential criteria)
- Technical level member of IOSH
- Minimum of Level 3 NEBOSH or equivalent safety and health qualification and have up to date CPD
- Adult training qualification at level 3 on a regulated qualifications framework (RQF); OR have successfully completed the IOSH Train the Trainer course
- Have two years substantial, face-to-face, training delivery experience
- A Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) level 3 certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety
