WH Bence have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer to join their team. Location: Yate, Bristol, BS37 5NG (Nationwide) Salary: Β£34,000 to Β£39,520 per annum with OTE Β£45,000 per annum* (dependent on qualifications and experience) Job Type: Full β time, permanent About us: WH Bence is a family owned and run Company based in Yate, Bristol which has been in business for over 40 years. Highly regarded UK specialist coachbuilder with contracts including the manufacture and conversion of vehicles for the emergency services, command & control vehicles, hospitality trailers and mobile medical units (Breast Screening, MRI, CT, Heart Cath Lab, Chemotherapy, Retinal Clinics). Mobile Electrical Service Engineer β This Role: Weβre looking for a reliable, conscientious, and hardworking individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be based at our service premises in Yate, near Bristol, but will also work on specialist vehicle contracts across the UK and Ireland. You will be working on a variety of specialist vehicles, including trailer-based and transportable medical vehicles, as well as Emergency Service mobile Command Units. This is a dynamic and interesting role that would suit someone with a keen eye for detail and solid general maintenance skills. We provide a service van and company mobile, and as Bence service engineers, you will be part of a standby call-out rota. This will involve working overtime, which can increase earnings up to Β£45,000 per year. As this is a mobile role, you will need to stay away from home when necessary. Mobile Electrical Service Engineer β You: β A full Category B driving licence is required for this role β The successful candidate will have been time served, qualification up to 18th Edition or NVQ equivalent β City & Guilds Test and Inspect 2391 or equivalent would be advantageous, but training can be provided β Previous experience of making up and installing wiring looms and cable systems, installation of varied systems via diagrams and instructions and fault finding and diagnosis β You will join the current team to provide after-sales support and fulfil long term contracts for preventative maintenance, for which training will be provided β After training you will be expected to be able to problem solve whilst on a clientβs site with telephone support from the Bence Service Manager β Experience in auto vehicle electrics and hydraulics will be advantageous though not essential To submit your CV for this exciting Mobile Electrical Service Engineer opportunity, please click βApplyβ now
