Job Title:Maintenance Engineer
Location:Leicester
Salary:Β£49,500
Shift Pattern:4 on 4 off days/nights

A well established manufacturer based in Leicesteris seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. About the Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, youll play a key role in keeping our production lines running smoothly. You'll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance, working closely with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery.

  • Diagnose faults and perform reactive maintenance quickly and effectively.

  • Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance activities.

  • Support continuous improvement and site development projects.

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

What Were Looking For:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills.

  • Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, Degree)

  • A proactive attitude and strong problem solving abilities.

  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a bonus.
