Our client is a busy construction engineering contractor who build and develop a broad range of high-value property types in Central London. They are looking for an aftercare and warranty administrator who can liaise with their clients after they handover building projects, and sort out programming of work that they carry out under warranty. You will be working in an engineering office with a technical team, which has a real buzz to it. This is an interesting and varied position with lots of potential. We are looking for someone who is organised, pro-active and who can build relationships with clients to ensure they are happy with what our client have built and any niggles are smoothly sorted out by the in-house engineering team. You will be an important first point of contact with the owners and managers of premier London commercial property, so we are looking for someone unflappable and organised, who enjoys speaking to people, finding solutions and working on projects which might be different every week. Although you don't need previous engineering knowledge, you should be keen to learn about mechanical, electrical and construction issues and build an understanding of construction engineering issues so you can liaise with the Engineering team. Working closely with the department manager, there will be a good level of support. This is an interesting position and would ideally suit someone with good administration experience who isn't scared of learning about technical issues, construction and engineering maintenance, who enjoys working in a busy construction office with a positive feel. you must have Maths and English GCSE and be competent using MS Word, Excel and similar software. The role is full time office based near London Bridge and our client needs someone within easy commuting distance.
