(No experience necessary!) We are recruiting for Dockyard Industrial Staff to work in Portsmouth Dockyard. (Ship Cleaners & Fire Sentry staff & labourers) You will be trained to cover a variety of different duties, as a flexible Industrial staff member. WHY JOIN? * Full training for all staff * Full-time hours guaranteed every week * The opportunity to obtain SC clearance to work on higher security areas * Training and clearances are completely free to all staff INDUSTRIAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES (Flexible Duties) * Ship Cleaning: Assisting with deep cleaning on surface ships on dock and water based. Cleaning oil spills, wiping down areas, sweeping and bleaching areas. * Fire Sentry: Will be trained to watch over electricians/welders working to prevent any potential fires. * General Labouring: Helping with general duties around the ships and naval base – Will be trained in various areas. ABOUT YOU * You must hold a valid Photo ID * You must have consistent employment references from the last 3 years (until the present) * Happy to do a drug/alcachol test & backgroud checks. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL TRAINING IN ALL REQUIRED AREAS ARE GIVEN! HOURS Standard shifts are 7:30 am – 4 pm (Ship Cleaning) or anywhere between 6 am – 6 pm (Fire Sentry). You will be required to work occasional weekends (1 in every 4). Pay: Monday- Friday £11.44, Saturday £12.58 & Sunday/Bank Holiday’s £13.73. Additional overtime for Weekday work before 07:30 / after 16:00 / nightshifts / backshifts: £12.58 (applicable after 12 weeks employment)
