Our client, a highly specialised engineering firm, operating within the motorsport/ high-end automotive industry.
The opportunity:
They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team. This is an early-stage search, and they are keen to engage with individuals who blend hands-on engineering expertise with strong project coordination skills.
This is a mid-level opportunity, ideal for someone with around 3+ years of experience in a relevant engineering field and looking to step into a role that offers technical depth, leadership potential, and close involvement in ongoing development projects.
What You\’ll Be Doing:
Supporting and reporting directly to the Head of Engineering.
Taking a lead role on engineering tasks (approx. 60%) while also managing project activities (approx. 40%).
Mentoring and guiding junior team members within a small, tight-knit technical group.
Working on specialist mechanical systems, contributing to both design and development phases.

To be successful, candidates must have hands-on experience in at least one of the following technical areas:
Suspension systems
Gearbox internals
Hydraulic systems
Clutch systems
Preferred Skills & Tools:
Experience with Creo CAD software is ideal, but those with a strong 3D CAD background in other platforms will still be considered.
