Salary: £28,000.00 – £30,000.00 DoE – would consider someone temporarily, with the view of going permanent within 3-6 months. Working From Home policy: 1 day a week at home, 4 days a week in the office Office Hours: Mon to Thurs 8.45 am – 5.30 pm, and Fri 8.45 am – 3 pm (Lunch – 45mins) Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting commercial operations? We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Administrator to provide comprehensive support to our clients' Commercial Department. Purpose of the Role: As a Commercial Administrator, you will play a key role in enhancing procurement processes, maintaining databases, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position is essential for streamlining operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the Commercial team. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and administer the material procurement process, including in-depth quotation analysis on a project-by-project basis. Support the Subcontractor procurement process by preparing tender packages, managing tender queries (TQs), and collating tender responses. Develop and maintain the Subcontractor and Supplier database, ensuring up-to-date information. Work closely with project Quantity Surveyors to verify Subcontractor compliance with HMRC requirements. Manage documentation for Client Extras in collaboration with the Sales team. Ensure compliance with Safety Management Advisory Services (SMAS) requirements. Generate Building Standards Sustainability certificates and manage uploads to Viewpoint. Create and issue monthly orders for on-site consumables and provide updates on Prelim and S&M monitoring. Assist the Commercial team with Site Stream purchase orders and sundry applications for payment. Manage the registration and coordination of the Road Bonding process. Provide general administrative support to the Commercial team, including meeting notes and action item tracking. Assist in the preparation and coordination of commercial reports and other submissions.
