Graduate Stores and Logistics Operative Full-time | Early Friday Finish | £26,000-£28,000 + Benefits Are you a hands-on graduate who is looking for an opportunity in the stores and logistics area, who is organised and enjoys thriving in a busy environment? We’re looking for a Graduate Stores and Logistics Operative to join a well-established manufacturing team known for quality and collaboration. You will be working for a small business with plenty of opportunity for growth and development. This isn’t just a graduate stores and logistics operative role — you’ll be managing stock, supporting production, handling dispatch, and working across teams to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities of the appointed Graduate Stores and Logistics Operative: * Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders * Process goods in/out using ERP systems and complete paperwork * Receive and check deliveries * Load/unload materials following safe manual handling * Prepare and cut materials to spec (full training provided) * Carry out stock checks and maintain system accuracy * Operate forklifts (training provided if needed) * Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised The ideal Graduate Stores and Logistics Operative will need to meet the following key requirements for the role: * Good computer skills and attention to detail * ERP or stock system experience is essential * Physically fit and comfortable with manual work * Clear communicator and team player * Forklift licence a bonus but not essential * Previous warehouse/logistics/admin experience required, within an engineering or manufacturing environment What’s On Offer: * £26,000 – £28,000 salary * Monday–Thursday: 07:00–16:00 * Friday: 07:00–13:00 (early finish!) * Friendly, supportive team * On-the-job training + development opportunities * Company benefits package This position may also be referred to as graduate stores and logistics operative, warehouse operative, stores supervisor, stores person, dispatch operative, logistics coordinator, warehouse supervisor.
