About the Maintenance Person Role
We are working with a leading provider of student accommodation who are preparing for their next intake of students. They are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join their team on a temporary basis to help with essential maintenance and room preparations.
Maintenance Person Key Responsibilities
Basic plumbing repairs (e.g. fixing toilet flushes and taps)
Replacing lightbulbs
Assembling and moving furniture, including mattresses
Replacing mattresses as needed
Touch-up painting and room decoration
Cleaning and preparing rooms for new tenants
Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues
Shower head replacement and general minor repairs
Silo coning tasks
Supporting the maintenance team with other ad hoc duties
Maintenance Person Requirements
Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role
Background in student accommodation, property management, Build to Rent, or hospitality is desirable
Confident working independently and handling a variety of repair tasks
Own tools preferred
Must be available for an immediate start
