We are a respected and long-standing electrical contractor based in Leeds, with over 70 years of experience delivering high-quality services across the commercial sector. We work with a wide range of clients throughout Yorkshire and Humberside, providing reliable, compliant and cost-effective electrical solutions.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are now looking to recruit qualified electricians to join our experienced and professional team. The business currently employs nine electricians, and we are looking to expand in order to meet increasing demand while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

Responsibilities

This is a permanent, full-time position carrying out a mix of project, planned and reactive maintenance across commercial properties throughout Yorkshire and Humberside. Approximately 90% of our workload is in the commercial sector, and we are committed to delivering a consistently high standard of service that reflects our long-standing reputation in the industry.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Attending sites to undertake planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive call-outs
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently and in line with regulations
  • Carrying out testing, inspection and remedial works where required
  • Communicating clearly with clients and site contacts to ensure expectations are met
  • Keeping detailed records of work completed and materials used
  • Ensuring all work complies with current electrical safety standards and best practices

You will be required to travel to our Leeds 9 base each morning to collect your vehicle, tools and receive the days work schedule.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable working in a reactive maintenance environment
  • A tidy, organised and professional approach to work

Desirable skills:-

  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Working at Height
  • Manual Handling

These are not essential and can be provided as part of your training package.
