ABC Teachers are looking to recruit for Teaching Assistants in the Walsall area to work in a Key Stage 2 environment of a primary school setting to start from the beginning of the new academic year on a day-to-day / part-time basis.

The role
This role will include:
Day-to-day / part-time cover working in line with schools’ hours of 08:30-15:30.
Supporting class teacher maintaining the smooth running of lessons.
To commence in September 2025 and continue throughout the autumn term.
The school
This will be based across primary schools in the Walsall area, with a team of supportive staff members able to make transition periods seamless for supply staff in school.
Requirements
To be considered for the KS2 Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Demonstrate an enthusiastic and collaborative approach to supporting pupils and colleagues in a school setting.
Possess verifiable experience working in a childcare or educational environment.
Ideally hold a childcare-related qualification, though candidates with relevant experience in a similar role are also encouraged to apply.
Be able to commit to school time hours.
Need to gain references from relevant roles from the last 2 years.
Be able to obtain a DBS registered to the online update service.
