Shift: 07:30am to 04:30pm / 07:30am to 12:30pm on a Friday
Pay Rate: £12.32 per hour + Overtime available

A leading UK Investment Casting manufacturer which has been supplying major OEM\’s and suppliers across many industries for over 50 years. The offer bespoke and often very complex components in an extensive range of metals and specialist alloys.
Our client is looking to recruit a General Operative who is willing to learn and develop in a manufacturing environment.
The role will involve working as part of a team; demonstrating flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills.
The ideal person will actively participate in the priming and shelling operations of the manufacturing process with accurate precision whilst meeting customer expectations.
Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
Responsibilities:
Carry out manufacturing operations, in line with works and quality procedures.
Aim to achieve nil breakages through quality of the assemblies and completed components.
Apply even and correct number of coats, and adhere to the drying times stated, in accordance with instructions on process sheet.
Ensure the correct mix is made up with correct ratios, undertake slurry checks on a regular basis to ensure they are within working limits, and record results.
Adhere to all H&S policies and procedures and ensure correct protective clothing and equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
