Co-investment Manager – Private Equity & Property Investments
The Investor Partner function at Maven is responsible for raising funds for Private Equity and Property investments on a deal-by-deal basis, as well as for committed capital funds, from our Professional Client base across Maven and Mattioli Woods. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with investors, manage complex queries, oversee compliance, and play a key role in launching investment products.
As a Co-investment Manager you will be instrumental in maintaining our investor base, onboarding new investors, and ensuring seamless communication with investors on their investments. What You Need to Succeed

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Trade:
- Drafting legal documents to support new investment opportunities.
- Assisting in the review and refinement of Investment Papers alongside Investment Executives and the Compliance team.
Book Build:
- Distributing new investment opportunities to the investor base.
- Managing the book build and allocation process.
- Handling investor queries, liaising with deal team executives as required.
- Confirming investment allocations and coordinating funds and legal documentation from investors.
Post-Trade:
- Setting up new investments on the Investor Portal and allocating investments accordingly.
- Onboarding new investors onto the Investor Portal.
Existing Investments:
- Providing investors with regular investment updates.
- Communicating investment exits, issuing notices, and distributing proceeds.
- Coordinating additional funding requirements with investors.
- Handling investor transfer requests, ensuring completion of legal documentation, and notifying relevant legal bodies.
- Liaising with tax, accounting, reporting, and deal teams to address complex investor queries.
Reporting & Distributions:
- Managing the six-monthly reporting and distribution cycle.
- Preparing distribution templates in collaboration with accounting functions.
- Communicating distribution notices and investor reports.
New Investors & Business Development:
- Engaging with potential investors, explaining the Investor Partner offering, track record, deal structures, return profiles, and tax treatment.
- Assisting Introducers through the onboarding process.
- Preparing marketing presentations and attending client events.
- Assessing new investors for Professional Client classification and conducting KYC/AML checks.
Marketing & Thought Leadership:
- Analysing investor introductions and sources.
- Generating ideas for topical articles on sector trends.
- Reviewing draft marketing articles.
Project Work & System Enhancements:
- Collaborating with developers to enhance systems for new product types and investors.
- Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of existing systems.
