Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an FOI Officer for a Local Authority Client based in Southwest London. In this role, you will ensure compliance with Freedom of Information and Data Protection legislation by managing casework, reviewing information for disclosure, and maintaining accurate and timely responses to requests. Key Duties: Log and triage FOI and Data Protection cases. Manage and action cases, including contacting internal stakeholders to gather required information. Review case information for compliance with disclosure legislation. Redact sensitive information in line with statutory requirements. Provide reminders to case owners about approaching deadlines. Complete administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of casework processes. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Previous administrative experience, ideally in information governance. A solid understanding of Freedom of Information and Data Protection legislation. Experience managing a caseload and responding to requests within statutory timeframes. Demonstrated skills in reviewing and redacting information for disclosure. Familiarity with case management systems and MS Office applications.
