Our manufacturing Client based in Dartford is seeking a QC Assistant Technician. The role is offered as one year contract (no remote working offered).
Salary: GBP23,400 – GBP28,600 dependant on experience + 20% Shift allowance
Excellent benefits package including 3% annual bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm -10pm (8:30pm finish Friday)
QC Assistant Technician – Responsibilities & Duties
- Quality control testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products, to internal GMP guidelines.
- Manufacture of testing materials and reagents.
- Good and safe housekeeping of work area.
- Support continuous process improvements to optimise departmental flow, plant, capacity and efficiency while contributing to improvement projects.
QC Assistant Technician – Main Duties
- Carry out sampling, testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products against the agreed current specifications.
- Manufacture of testing materials and reagents.
- Work to GMP guidelines, generating traceable results and records.
- Enter raw data and results generated into the company s Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- To follow global, company and departmental SOP s, where appropriate.
- To perform calibration tests on laboratory equipment, where required.
- Ensuring the work area is maintained to the required standard of 5S housekeeping.
QC Assistant Technician – Skills and experience required:
- Must have normal colour vision essential
- Hands on laboratory experience ideally in a commercial manufacturing environment
The position will ideally suit candidates with
- 5 or more GCSE s including Science, English and Math, 2 or more A Levels, ideally chemistry or a relevant pharmaceutical science degree.
