FEA Engineer – Blackburn – Manufacturing About the Role: Are you the type who sees a structure and immediately starts calculating load paths in your head? Do you have an almost unhealthy obsession with FEA simulations? Do you believe that accuracy isn’t just a goal—it’s a way of life? Then congratulations, you're exactly who we need! As a FEA Engineer, your job is to crunch the numbers, simulate the forces, and ensure that our mechanical systems, components, and structures don’t just look good—they actually work. You'll be the mastermind behind theoretical performance evaluations, helping our sales and design teams turn ideas into reality (without, you know, them falling apart). What You’ll Be Doing (aka Why You’ll Love This Job) 🔹 Using your brainpower to produce hand calculations and FEA analysis (mechanical, structural, thermal, fatigue—you name it). 🔹 Ensuring all calculations are accurate, concise, and don’t defy the laws of physics. 🔹 Working closely with design engineers to ensure their pretty models actually function. 🔹 Writing technical reports, presentations, and documents (yes, some paperwork, but hey, it’s for science). 🔹 Contributing to R&D activities—because innovation doesn’t just happen, it needs smart people like you. 🔹 Providing technical support on projects and occasionally dazzling customers with your expertise. 🔹 Helping out with new business enquiries—because who doesn’t love a challenge? What We’re Looking For (Besides a Genius) ✅ Must-Haves: ✔ HND + 3 years OR BEng in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) + 2 years experience—so you know your way around calculations. ✔ The ability to generate hand and software-based calculations like it’s second nature. ✔ A deep understanding of load paths, failure modes, and structural limits (translation: making sure things don’t break). ✔ The ability to write technical reports and specifications without putting people to sleep. ✔ Strong communication skills—because even engineers need to talk to people. What’s in It for You? 💰 Great salary & benefits (we value talent, and it shows). 📈 Career development opportunities (no dead ends here). 🛠️ Exciting, cutting-edge projects—you’ll never be bored. 🚀 A fun, dynamic, and slightly nerdy team (in the best way possible). If you're ready to use your engineering superpowers for good, apply now or DM me for more details! 🚀 #Hiring #MechanicalEngineer #FEA #EngineeringLife #CoolJobs #JoinUs
