Job Title: Disability Business Inclusion Consultant
Location: Remote, WFH anywhere!
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

With global clients including Meta, Virgin Media, Strongbow, the BBC and many more, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Disability Business Inclusion Consultant to join our team and support our clients in their journey towards crafting inclusive and accessible practices that can drive progressive representation in their marketing and communications activity. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs, analyse and evaluate current working practices and develop tailored solutions, recommendations and resources that further their inclusive education and understanding.
This role is ideal for candidates who have a deep and forward-thinking understanding of disability and inclusion as well as a keen interest in, marketing, comms and branding. We’re looking for someone with commercial awareness, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for creating inclusive experiences for all.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing clients\’ needs and providing tailored support and recommendations for DE&I activities within multiple areas of their business, including marketing and communications
- Always advocating for and articulating the business case for inclusion with clients
- Developing comprehensive accessibility and inclusion strategies, action plans and training programmes for clients across diverse industries
- Conducting inclusion audits that result in tailored and actionable recommendations for clients that will deliver tangible business results
- Creating a safe space for clients to develop their learning – delivering training and workshops on disability awareness, inclusive practices, accessibility standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with campaigns and strategy teams across the business to ensure that Purple Goat services are cohesive and aligned in their approach.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of implemented initiatives and providing clients with progress reports
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments, trends, and best practices in disability and inclusion as well as more broadly in the marketing and comms industry.
Required skills and experience to apply:
- Proven experience in DE&I consultancy and marketing consultancy
- Ability to balance aspirations around disability inclusion with commercial understanding, working with clients to iterate their products, services, campaign activity and practices over time to create truly inclusive and accessible experiences
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, guidelines, and legislation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Relevant degree or work experience in DE&I and marketing
- Experience working in client-facing roles is essential
