Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client Stellantis, Vauxhall, a leading automotive manufacturing company based in Ellesmere Port. They are looking for multiple experienced FLT drivers to join their team starting on 18th August 2025 working on a 3 shift rotation of Days/Afternoons and Nights.
Details:
£17.45 per hour made up from Basic Pay plus Shift allowance.
Additional pay will be based on basic rate or basic plus shift rate, depending which hours required to work overtime:
Overtime after 37.5hrs.
Saturday Time and half.
Sunday Double Time.
Candidates must be flexible across different shift patterns:
7am – 3pm.
3pm – 10:50pm.
10:50pm – 7am.
Monday to Friday.Key Duties:
FLT will be predominantly FLT but will need to get off FLT through shift to do other duties relating to the role, which could be as below.
Assembling various parts on to vehicles.
Checking part quality prior to shipping.
Moving of pressed panels to rails.
Prepping Vehicles prior to Paint work.
Working on feet all day with lifting involved. To be considered for this role, you must have:
FLT C/B Licence (indate)- Not inhouse licences.
Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, Automotive desirable.
Flexible to work either rotating shift pattern of Days / Afternoons and Nights, Shifts and departments can change with business needs, so Must be flexible for all.
Transport to be able to get to and from site as public transport may not accommodate the entire shift pattern or location.In addition to this, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can work well as part of a team and independently. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are also key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.
