This company is a key player in its sector, supplying high-spec, regulated products across the UK and international markets. They’re looking for someone who can take ownership of production planning, maintain strong control of systems and materials, and help drive continuous improvement across the operation.
The Role & Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling production work orders to meet customer requirements OTIF, ensuring all materials and processes are aligned to deliver on time and in full.
Key responsibilities include:

Creating and maintaining production schedules in Oracle
*
Preparing and issuing batch documentation to production
*
Liaising with procurement to ensure timely supply of raw materials and consumables
*
Entering finished stock into Oracle and keeping production data up to date
*
Representing planning at daily/weekly/monthly cross-functional meetings
*
Supporting ongoing improvement projects across planning and production
*
Leading on annual stock take of materials and finished goods
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
*
Experience production planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment
*
Experience using planning software for capacity, scheduling, and MRP
*
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
*
Experience in S&OP and S&OE practices
*
Comfortable working cross-functionally with procurement, production, and commercial teams
*
ORACLE ASCP experience would be a real advantage
*
APICS certification and/or a relevant degree preferred
