If your next job in Technical Management needs to be with a company that listens to you, takes technical matters seriously, and you don\’t want to spend all your day in meetings, then this might be your ideal next role.

There are no major problems that need solving in Technical, but the company expects the site\’s (top, unannounced) audit results to be maintained, and improvements to the department to be worked on continuously.

You would need to be used to being someone who is highly visible in the factory, someone who doesn\’t shy away from saying \”no\” to things that aren\’t compliant, but also someone who has a commercial head on their shoulders – using lateral thinking to work out how something can be done in a different way, rather than just saying no.

The person who gets this role will probably be in a Technical Manager role for another chilled food company now, or in the last few years. You\’ve been hosting external audits and driving a culture of improvement in a recent role, and you are just wondering if there is a company out there that would be a better place to work. This job is with that company.

Monday to Friday, on-site, usually 1 day working from home per week, but not contractual, and shouldn\’t be relied upon to make the job work for you.

£60,000 – £70,000 basic salary, 33 days annual leave, including statutory days.

15% Bonus scheme, generous pension, healthcare, lots of minor company perks. Maximum package value circa £90,000

If you are in Technical Management and still love the job, but want to work somewhere that treats you better, then click \”apply\” and I will call you back with more information.
