Residential Property Lawyer

Leading Cornish Firm | Hybrid Working – Penzance, Cornwall

Salary: Β£30,000 – Β£50,000 (DOE) + Full Flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

β€’ Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold/leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

β€’ Oversee all stages of conveyancing transactions, from instruction through to post-completion.

β€’ Liaise with clients, estate agents, and lenders to ensure the smooth progress of transactions.

β€’ Draft and review contracts, conduct title checks, and raise and respond to enquiries.

β€’ Stay up to date with developments in residential property law and implement best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

β€’ A minimum of 2 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in UK residential conveyancing.

β€’ Confidence in managing a broad caseload with minimal supervision.

β€’ Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach to service.

β€’ Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills; experience with case management systems is an advantage.

β€’ A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a hybrid working environment.
