Head of Product & Experience – Beverage Innovation

Macgregor Black are partnering with a Beverage Manufacturing Business, we are looking for a Head of Product & Experience – Beverage Innovation to lead its brand, product, and customer proposition across the UK. This is a pivotal role within a business that partners with some of the most recognised operators in retail, hospitality, and foodservice.
You’ll take ownership of product excellence – from insight and innovation through to execution and brand storytelling. Working across a diverse, multi-site estate, you’ll shape a culture of operational brilliance, customer experience, and high-performance development.
This is more than a functional role – it’s about creating impact at scale, setting new standards in the beverage category, and elevating both people and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve a market-leading, insight-led training and development platform.
- Partner with strategic customers to build outstanding product, marketing, and operational plans.
- Own the branded and private label portfolio, working cross-functionally with development, marketing, and supply chain.
- Shape new onboarding journeys for multi-site operators and franchise clients.
- Champion innovation in equipment and technology alongside strategic manufacturing partners.
- Deliver engaging live events and content with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic tenders and client propositions.
- Monitor budget performance, commercial KPIs, and margin improvements.
- Build and lead a national team of category trainers and experience managers, focused on capability, consistency, and progression.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven leadership track record within the hot beverage, coffee, or drinks industry. **Must Have experience
- A deep understanding of how brand, product, and operational delivery come together.
- Strong commercial insight, able to blend strategy with on-the-ground execution.
- Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional, and customer-facing environments.
- Passion for innovation, training, and elevating both teams and experiences.
- The credibility and charisma to influence at all levels – from C-suite to front-line.
Salary: £75,000–£85,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits
