A well known professional services organisation is looking for a BI Developer to join their hybrid team (1 to 2 days in office) in either Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen. You\’ll be joining a tightknit team of 3 that are responsible for designing, building and testing interactive dashboards and underlying data pipelines that support reporting needs across the organisation for internal use and for external international clients.
What you\’ll be doing:
You\’ll be involved throughout the full development lifecycle from gathering requirements and shaping ideas to delivering high quality Power BI reports and dashboards. Your work will help turn raw and unstructured data into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders across the business and their clients.
You\’ll also:
Get the opportunity to lead projects end to end
Engage and liaise with different internal teams and external stakeholders
Get exposure to Azure Data factory
Have hands on involvement implementing Power BI into new financial software
What they\’re looking for:
Commercial experience with Power BI / Business Intelligence experience
Experience with Power BI, SQL, DAX, SSRS and SSIS
Experience leading projects and collaborating with others on BI projects
Ideally you would have experience with Azure Data Factory
Experience in a professional services organisation is desirable but not essential
The team & flexibility:
You\’ll be reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager and joining a well established team that values collaboration and promotes from within. The working environment is super flexible; if you\’re near Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Aberdeen, they\’d love to see you in the office 1 or 2 days per week, but if you\’re further afield they can accommodate to this.
