We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our EE-MOBILE team, focusing on EE-OCS (On-Prem) and EE-AOC platforms (Cloud Infra). The role demands a strong background in DevOps, Telecom mediation systems, application support, and cloud technologies (AWS). The candidate will act as the onsite SPOC for critical deployments, escalations, and live environment support, client coordination ensuring seamless integration and stability of telecom services. In addition to application support, the role requires strong testing capabilities including functional, regression, and application testing using tools like JMeter, SoapUI, Postman and Blazemeter. The engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of telecom services through rigorous testing and validation processes.He/She should have hands-on experience on Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, ServiceNow (SNOW) and defect management tool like JIRA.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage live/test environment deployments for EE-MOBILE platforms (OCS/AOC).
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools and practices.
Act as L2 Support member; Act as the primary onsite contact for live issues, escalations, and priority requests.
Provide on-call support and respond to critical issues outside regular office hours.
Provide 24×7 support, including out-of-hours and weekend availability for critical operations.
Liaise with client stakeholders and business teams to provide updates and ensure service stability.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare post-incident reports (POR) for critical issues.
Monitor and analyze logs and metrics using Elastic Search, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
Manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow.
Manage Defect starting from creation, analysis, support, closure.
Able to replicate the scenarios for proper analysis
Conduct functional and regression testing for new releases and patches.
Support application testing using tools like SoapUI and Jenkins.
Participate in change management processes and ensure compliance with operational standards.7 to
Collaborate with offshore teams to transition recurring tasks and ensure knowledge continuity.
Work on telecom mediation systems, ensuring accurate data processing and integration.
Utilize AWS services for cloud-based deployments, monitoring, and automation.
Required Skills & Experience:
7 to 8+ years of experience in the Telecom domain, preferably in mobile services.
Strong expertise in DevOps tools (AnsibleJenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, SQL, and Oracle.
Experience with telecom mediation systems, Billing system
Solid understanding of telecom protocols, Mediation & Billing domain
Experience with testing tools like SoapUI , JMeter
Experience with CI/CD deployments using ansible, Jenkins
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Elastic Search, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace
Knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
Understanding of change management processes.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
Willingness to work in a 24×7 environment with on-call support responsibilities.
Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent graduation
DevOps or CI/CD related certifications (preferred)
AWS Certification (preferred)
