Pay Rate: £12.32 per hour + overtime
Shift: Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:30pm, Fri 7:30am-12:30pm

Our Client:
An established UK-based manufacturer with over 50 years of engineering excellence is seeking an experienced Storesperson to join their warehouse and logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in warehousing and stores, particularly within a manufacturing or engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the smooth handling of both incoming supplies and outgoing finished products, ensuring quality and accuracy at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the shipment and receipt of all goods on a day-to-day basis
Record and verify incoming materials using the company\’s business system (Synchro)
Collect and delivery parts using the company van
Monitor stock levels and carry out monthly finished goods stock counts
Identify and resolve discrepancies such as misdirected, damaged, or missing items
Allocate and move materials and products to fulfil internal and external orders
Conduct regular racking inspections and maintain general housekeeping standards
Support in maintaining yard and hygiene areas when required
Essential Requirements:
Valid FLT Licence
Driving Licence
Prior experience in order picking and warehouse operations
Confident using warehouse equipment and familiar with health & safety practices
Strong attention to detail and able to work under pressure
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Desirable (but not essential):
A5 Pedestrian Operated Stacker Truck licence
Basic understanding of LEAN principles in warehouse settings
Racking inspection or Banksman training (training can be provided)
