Steel Operative

A Steel Operative / Bander is required for an established steel processing company based in the Burntwood area of the West Midlands, working a permanent 6am-2pm morning shift. You will be banding up processed steel coils on the back end of a slitting line and stacking blanks on the back end of a blanking line, alongside associated duties, loading / unloading, operating cranes and more. Duties of this Steel Operative / Bander role include; Banding up processed steel coils Stacking processed steel blanks Operating overhead cranes to handle steel Loading and unloading steel onto the machine lineYou will be working a permanent morning shift pattern – 6am – 2pm (Monday – Friday)This Steel Operative / Bander role will be working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities available.
