Our nursery is a large, busy environment supporting children from aged 2 to aged 5.

We have a large nursery team who work well together to ensure the best outcomes for our children.

All staff take on a leadership role in one area of the nursery and are committed to CLPL.

About the School

Set at the top of Perth\’s North Inch and overlooking the River Tay, St John\’s RC Academy is at the heart of the North Inch Community Campus. Our 2-18 all-through school provides education for over eleven hundred children and young people from nursery to S6. The campus is a hub of opportunities for the local community, utilising state of the art sports and cultural facilities, offering a wide range of services for all ages.

Requirements

For the role of Early Childhood Practitioner, you should hold an appropriate qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People, as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person who is a team player.

Ideally you will be someone who uses their initiative and is creative in approaches to providing high quality learning and childcare.

You should have a good understanding of child development and milestones.

Ideally you will have experience of working within early education and have knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and Pre Birth to Three, Realising the Ambition.
