Job Role
An opportunity has arisen with our client based near Sandy who are looking for a metal polisher to join their skilled and knowledgeable team working on a dayshift. This is essentially a hands-on role, working within a small team and is an excellent opportunity to work and learn with a well-respected market leading engineering company.
Job Responsibilities
Manual polishing of components.
Ensuring quality has been reached within all areas of production
Fettling, Grinding, Deburring
Polishing out weld seams
Liaise with quality / production to raise any material issues
Clean and maintain work area and equipment Person Specification
Experience of working in a similar manufacturing environment
Confident in working with pliable material
Knowledge of Sanders, Air Saws, Electrical Hand Grinders and hand tools
Attention to detail
Good team player; able to communicate well with others
Understanding of different metal types. Hours of Work and Pay
39 Hours per week
Up to £13/hour DOE
Overtime at time and a half
Own transport
