Gaming Sales & Relationship Executive Location: Peterborough Salary £23000 – £30000 Hours : Monday – Friday 08:45 – 17:15 *We are now looking to recruit a driven individual who essentially must have gaming knowledge. Our client is focussed on designing and providing insurance solutions tailored specifically to the games industry—covering everything from indie developers and publishers to major studios and service providers. The mission is to protect the industry from unexpected risks and giving them peace of mind that the insurance they have in place, is right for them. By truly understanding how studios operate and the unique challenges they face, our client has built a reputation for reliability, integrity, and a genuine passion for helping the sector thrive. The Role We’re looking for a Business Development Executive who is a genuine enthusiast of the games industry and eager to help expand the presence. This is not a high-pressure sales role; instead, it focuses on building relationships, fostering trust and generating leads to follow up on. You’ll represent the insurance brand at events, across online networks, and through personal connections—lining up inquiries to manage through the quoting and sales process with the team. As our client continues to grow in the UK, the US, and there are plans for further international expansions, you’ll have the opportunity to travel to major events like GamesCom and GDC (once you’ve proven yourself). But to start with most events will be local (eg Develop Brighton, Format, PGC, as well as other smaller local events etc) If you’re enthusiastic about attending industry events, love connecting with people, and want to learn more about the industry from a new angle, we’d love to hear from you. About You * Games Industry Passion: You follow the latest releases, know the major studios, and genuinely enjoy being part of the scene. * Relationship-Driven: You’re a people person who can confidently engage professionals at all levels, from indie devs to AAA studios. * Proactive & Tenacious: You see prospecting as a necessary part of business growth and tackle it with enthusiasm. * Loyal & Trustworthy: Reputation is everything in the games industry. We need someone who appreciates the responsibility of representing the brand. * Team Collaborator: You thrive in a supportive environment, working hand-in-hand with colleagues to achieve shared goals. * Organized & Efficient: You manage your time and resources effectively, keeping track of leads, follow-ups, and appointments. * Insurance Knowledge (or Willing to Learn): You don’t need to be an insurance expert, but you should have a willingness to understand how insurance fits into the games industry. Salary – £23k-£30k, negotiable depending on seniority and existing industry expertise, personal reputation and existing contacts. The salary can scale and be regularly reviewed based on results
