Wild Recruitment are pleased to be working with one of our clients in their search for a skilled and reliable CNC Turner to join their precision engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes to produce high-quality components
This role suits someone with strong machining experience, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits as required
Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment
Maintain quality standards and ensure components meet customer requirements
Perform routine machine maintenance and report faults or issues
Work to production schedules and meet deadlines
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
Requirements
Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and machining instructions
Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or similar CNC controls (programming experience desirable)
Skilled in using precision measuring tools and conducting quality checks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
