Overview
Now looking for a Cut & Crease Operator experienced in all areas of die cutting to work on our brand new Bobst die cutter. The successful applicant will be required to set-up and operate: Automatic Platen Cutting Machine.

- Friday: 6.45pm-6.45am
- Saturday: 6pm-6am
- Sunday: 6am-6pm

Responsibilities and Duties
- Making ready jobs for die-cutting.
- Inspect die for any damage and ensure it is safely locked into chase prior to lifting into machine
- Adjust front and side lays to obtain best fit to printed sheet
- Prepare, make ready sheet, matrix and Braille if needed
- During make-ready process, check for marks, burst creases and squareness of carton and make any necessary adjustments
- Patch-up make ready sheet as necessary
- Set up the feed board, wheels and brushes, trips, detectors and photo-electric cells
- Ensure printed sheets are free from marking
- Set stripping unit
- Set up delivery
- Make running adjustments as appropriate
- Carry out pre make ready as required
- Comply with the Quality Assurance standard operating procedures, including in-process inspection documentation, at all times
- Overlook the running of other cut crease machines within the department
- Provide training to less skilled operators/trainees as required
- Ensure adherence at all times to the Company\’s Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures and maintain compliance to appropriate standards
- The quality management system has been designed and developed to meet the requirements of ISO9001, PS9000, BRC, FSC and PEFC. The quality management system defines the Company\’s policies and standard operating procedures on design, product security and safety, hygiene, environment, resource and training.
