General Cover Teacher (Full-Time/Part-Time, Temporary)

£150 – £215 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement for this position is a suitable qualification to teach i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS

ABC Teachers are seeking committed General Cover Supply Teachers to work across a range of supportive secondary schools in Yardley and nearby Birmingham areas from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a real difference in different school communities. Requirements

The successful Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching at secondary level

• Strong classroom management skills

• Flexibility to cover a range of subjects

• A positive attitude and commitment to supporting students learning

• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
