Joining DaVita as Patient Care Technician (PCT)
This is an exciting opportunity to jump start your career in the healthcare industry! With paid, extensive training, you will gain the skills needed to care for our patients and build a network of healthcare professionals across your region. After training, you will join a team of care professionals including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other PCTs to care for patients. Career Development

Position Details
- No dialysis experience required.
- Training may occur in a different facility or clinic.
- Potential to float to various clinics during and after training.
- Must have a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What to Expect
- Providing direct patient care during dialysis treatments.
- Monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment, including recording stats and machine setup.
- Building long-term relationships with patients and educating them on dialysis-related topics.
- Working within a team of clinicians including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, under RN supervision.

Requirements
- Desire to care for others in healthcare.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfort working around blood and needles.
- Ability to work long hours and across multiple clinics.
- Healthcare certifications like CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy are a plus.
