Warehouse Assistant

Are you based in the Northampton area? Do you have experience in the Construction Materials Industry or a Builder’s Merchant?

Minster, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for a Yard/Warehouse Assistant who is passionate about providing excellent service.

Hours: 7.00 – 5.00, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading vehicles, using a forklift when needed
• Maintain stock levels and conduct regular stock counts
• Pick items to fulfill customer orders
• Check incoming stock deliveries and store items appropriately
• Learn about our product lines and services to enhance customer interactions
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Keep the branch clean and tidy to make a great first impression
• Prioritize Health & Safety to ensure a safe work environment

Required Skills and Experience

• Flexible approach to work

• Confident communicator, both over the phone and in person
• Previous forklift experience preferred; training will be provided
