Job Description

Enablement Support Team MemberBroughton£30.88 per hour + overtime (x1.5/x2)initially 12 months1-stage interviewMon-Fri (flexible working hours) Advantage Resourcing is working in partnership with a leading organisation seeking an Enablement Support Team Member to play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations by resolving enabling blockers, managing tooling and consumables, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining lean manufacturing systems. You will work closely with engineering, design, facilities, and operations to deliver effective solutions that keep production running efficiently.What will you be doing?
  • Liaising with engineering and design teams to address production-enabling blockers.
  • Controlling and maintaining consumable materials and tooling.
  • Working with Facilities and Services to ensure Service Level Agreements and delivery requirements are met.
  • Acting as the management interface between the Tool Control Centre and Operations (Calibration Process).
  • Supporting Capex projects and facility improvement initiatives.
  • Assessing continuous improvement opportunities and implementing new processes in line with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Assisting the Safety Engineer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conducting financial analysis, control, and reporting.

A couple of things you should know:

  • Ideally, general knowledge and experience of aircraft assembly tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with TCMI, tooling, and procedural documentation.
  • Strong ability to investigate and introduce continuous improvement ideas.
  • Practical competence in current PC-based packages (essential) and experience with SAP (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Lean systems.
