Litigation Solicitor – 2-5 PQE
Salary £55,000 – £70,000
Central London
A excellent multi-office firm with offices across London, is looking for a strong litigation Solicitor to join their close-nit head office in the city centre. Working with a senior Partner and junior members of staff, the firm is offering a diverse caseload with a (roughly) even split of Property Litigation, Civil Litigation, and Commercial Litigation matters. The firm is well known for their friendly environment and good quality work, appearing in the Legal 500, and have a traditional set-up and a strong local offering.
This firm is able to offer a competitive salary and a lot of progression up to a senior level, with team development and Partnership options available in the medium term. This is an ideal role for a developing junior Solicitor that enjoys managing a diverse and high-quality caseload, looking for their next step up in central London.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of dispute resolution and litigation matters to include property litigation, civil litigation, and commercial litigation,
- Support junior members of staff in developing their careers and managing cases, with excellent supervision,
- Assist senior Partners with larger matters, ensuring full compliance and the highest standards of care,
- Attend client meetings, court hearings and conferences.
- Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding to deliver on client expectations.
Skills and Experience:
- UK qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with 2-5 years PQE (other levels will be considered on a case by case basis),
- Experience managing a wide variety of litigation matters, to include property disputes and some commercial litigation,
- Ability to lead in relevant matters and supervise junior members of staff when needed,
- A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development,
- Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and colleagues.
This firm allows for some flexible working in their Head Office and opportunities to work in other offices moving forward. As renumeration, they offer a competitive salary, with a benefits package available on request.
