Just finished your Building Surveying degree or have up to 2 years’ experience under your belt? Ready to take the next step towards Chartership? This family-run consultancy in Surrey is offering the perfect platform to launch your career.
You’ll join a supportive, close-knit team where you are more than just a number. The directors are approachable, hands-on and genuinely invested in your development. You’ll be given responsibility from day one while still receiving the right guidance and mentoring to make sure you succeed.
The projects are varied, mainly residential at around 80 percent with some commercial, giving you a broad foundation of experience. What really sets this role apart is the accelerated APC pathway. You’ll receive structured one-to-one mentoring, expert guidance and real project exposure that will help you achieve Chartership quicker than most larger firms can offer.
Responsibilities
- Supporting senior surveyors across a wide variety of professional and project services
- Getting involved in site inspections, condition surveys, quinquennial surveys and technical reporting
- Assisting with party wall matters, dilapidations and defect analysis
- Helping with project specifications, contract administration and tendering
- Building strong relationships with clients and contractors
- Actively working towards Chartership with tailored support every step of the way
Requirements
- A degree in Building Surveying
- A full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
- Ambition, enthusiasm and a real desire to get Chartered
