Job Description
Buckden Partners has been mandated by an award-winning real estate advisory firm, to support them with the search for a new Analyst to join their team.
From a debt advisory perspective, typical loan sizes range from £10m-£200m. You will work sector agnostic and gain experience across the spectrum of asset classes and the stages of an asset’s life (site/ construction/ stabilisation, repositioning, etc). Jurisdictions include the UK & Western Europe, finance types include short-term, long-term, investment and development finance and seeking solutions from both banking and non-banking lenders.
About the Role:
Due to continued growth the firm they are looking to hire an Analyst to their origination team.
- Supporting a deal leader in all aspects of a debt financing transaction.
- Liaising with clients to assemble the information required to take a transaction to market.
- Preparing lender presentations / information memorandums.
- Preparing cashflows / development appraisals / tenancy schedules / other financial information.
- Attending meetings with clients / lenders, alongside the deal leader.
- Expanding professional network by building & maintaining relationships with industry professionals (lenders, valuers, lawyers, investment agents, etc).
Candidate Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in a similar Real Estate role.
- University degree – Real Estate/Real Estate Finance or equivalent (must have)
- Excellent Microsoft skills – particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
- Confident in building financial models from scratch (debt & equity cash flows).
